Quad Cities Community Foundation
The Quad Cities Community Foundation is transforming the region through the generosity of donors. It is the place where generous people make both lifetime and estate gifts of all sizes to support the long-term needs and opportunities of their community, and the specific organizations and causes most meaningful to them.
The Community Foundation also awards grants and scholarships to organizations and people both in the Quad Cities and through affiliates in surrounding rural counties.
By nonprofits, for nonprofits. The Community Foundation's Hunt and Diane Harris Center for Nonprofit Excellence is strengthening the nonprofit sector as a connector, capacity builder, and champion for regional nonprofits and philanthropy. Through national expert-led programs and peer learning, we foster collaboration and innovation, empowering nonprofits to address community challenges with confidence. Our flagship programs—Effective Nonprofit Management Cohort & Strong Board Governance Series—help boards and staff increase their effectiveness and impact. By investing in capacity building for local organizations, we ensure they can deliver stronger programs, serve more people, and create lasting, positive change across the Quad Cities.
